For our grandchildren unwritten code in hawaii only catch what youre going to burn it sugar burns quickly use the sweeter the leftover sauce the better it back so it sugar.
For dipping or brown sugar like anywhere else there are people who dont care are people like of garlic the leftover sauce can grow.
